Fatty 'Cue - West Village : Practice LLC

Fatty 'Cue is a 850-square-foot restaurant in Manhattan's West Village. Although the restaurant occupies a small footprint, it was designed to create a variety of spatial sequences, imparting a sense of comfort and intimacy. Slatted wood screen walls are deployed throughout the space in a number of different scales, providing both visual access and privacy to the adjacent tables. A bench table directly adjacent to the semi-open kitchen is bathed in color, creating a focal point at the end of the space. A number of small liquor cabinets are embedded near booth seating, providing a unique space for tableside bottle service.

Project completed in 2011.
